Privacy Policy

Sport DNA is operated by Connected PE Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Sport DNA app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What stays on your device

The following is stored only on your iPhone and is never uploaded to our servers or backed up by us:

• Profile details you enter: name, age, height, weight, gender, target sport
• Fitness test results: raw measurements, scores, dates
• Camera frames captured during pose tests (used by on-device Vision for skeleton detection)
• Training plan progress and completion state
• Captured video clips you generated during tests

Deleting the app from your phone removes all of the above.

What we send to our recommendation service

When you tap “Reveal My Sport DNA”, we send a non-identifying snapshot to our Cloudflare-hosted recommendation worker so it can compose your report:

• Your first name (e.g. “Jarrod”)
• Age, height, weight, gender
• Your test scores
• Your target sport, if you set one

The worker forwards this to Anthropic (claude.com) to generate AI-grounded recommendations. We do not retain this data and Anthropic does not use API inputs for training. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

What we send to RevenueCat

Subscription purchases and entitlement checks are validated via RevenueCat. They receive:

• An anonymous device identifier
• Subscription purchase history
• App version

What we send to Apple

App Store transactions for subscriptions and credit purchases. We never see your payment card details.

What we do NOT collect

• Your contacts, full photo library, precise location, or background microphone audio
• Names or details of anyone besides the profile owner
• Payment card numbers (handled entirely by Apple)
• Browser history or activity outside this app

The microphone is used briefly during tests for clap-to-start detection. No audio is recorded or transmitted.

How we use the data

• To compose your personalised Scout Report and training plan
• To remind you about scheduled re-tests via local notifications
• To show your progress over time on your device

We do not sell your data. We do not show advertising in this app. We do not share your data with third parties beyond the service providers listed above.

Children's privacy

Sport DNA may be used by minors with parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personally identifying information from children under 13 beyond what you choose to enter (typically a first name, age, height, weight). Parents can delete a profile at any time from the Profiles screen, and can delete every piece of data we hold from Settings → Delete all my data.

Your rights

• Delete a profile: Profiles → tap profile → delete. Wipes everything for that profile.
• Delete every profile and every result: Settings → Delete all my data.
• Stop generating Scout Reports: simply don't tap the report button. No further data leaves your device.
• Manage your subscription: Settings → Manage subscription (opens Apple's subscription manager).

Apple manages the actual payment and subscription record. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
